There are currently two types of air con gas available R134A gas is common in vehicles manufactured before 2014. All vehicles with air conditioning manufactured since 1st January 2014 include the new R1234YF air con gas which is more environmentally friendly. Ensure that yourself and your car are safe on the road by bringing your vehicle in for a health check. We thoroughly examine various areas of your vehicle including tyre pressure and oil checks amongst others and highlight any causes for concern to put your mind at ease.
A locking wheel nut key is required to remove the alloy wheels from you vehicle. If this has been lost or your vehicle wan't supplied with one, this will result in a tyre change taking longer to complete.
For your convenience we can fit tyres same day. Simply add same day fitting to your basket. Please note that same day fitting applies to tyre purchases only.
Due to the constant movement of suspension parts, the joints and pivots gradually wear out over time. With this in mind, we recommend regular checks of your suspension system to keep everything running smoothly.
Since November 2012 all new vehicles are fitted with a TPMS - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Let us check the health of your TPMS system. We'll let you know if any of your valves need replacing or if there are any other issues that need to be rectified.
If your wheel balance is incorrect, this will cause vibration in the steering wheel and dashboard as well as prematurely wearing your tyres and suspension parts. Over time, bumps and cornering will affect your wheel balance so it is recommended to have them balanced regularly.
